• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Pleskrestore does not restore all mail boxes

When I run a full restore with pleskrestore as described in the backup/restore manual, I seem to lose a few email boxes. This is the case when a single client has multiple domains with on two or more domains an email address with the same prefix, for instance [email protected] and [email protected]. The old psa-restore would give me an error that there already existed an email box for client X with that prefix.

Please fix this in the next version.

Are you using:

/usr/local/psa/bin/pleskrestore --create-map BACKUPFILE.NAME -map dump1 #generate the map file

/usr/local/psa/bin/pleskrestore --restore BACKUPFILE.NAME -level clients -map dump1

We use duplicate mail names, (ie, webmaster@, info@, etc... ) with no problems.
