• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Postfix configuration for clients

NeoTrafy

Basic Pleskian
Hi all and thank you in advance for your time.

I have PP 11.5 in a dedicated server named sv01.mydomain.tld and I can't find on my own the solution for the next thing. The main IP of the server assigned to my main domain is 1.1.1.1 while the clients are addressed to the IP 2.2.2.2 in the same server.

The mails are sent (as I can see in the headers) from sv01.mydomain.tld (IP 2.2.2.2) but the thing is the IP 2.2.2.2 does not resolve to sv01.mydomain.tld (1.1.1.1 does).

If I check the DNS configuration of the clients domains it shows the reverse is not configured and some servers need also a valid PTR record.

How should I solve this?

Thank you again,
Jorge OH.

Edit: When I send mails from mydomain.tld everything is ok, the reverse, the PTR, everything.
