Resolved Postfix SRS default domain

Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.61 Update #5
Hello:

Is there a way to change the default SRS domain used for rewriting forwarded emails?

When the default domain is used for rewriting if such domain is whitelisted in antispam policies then filtering is bypassed even when the email comes from an external domain.

This post (Important note about Spam Filtering and White/Black Lists) addresses the issue using an exclusive domain for SRS rewritten address but the Plesk SRS integration is different.

Hello @federicosayd

The SRS configuration is predefined and can not be changed.
Moreover, Plesk configures this feature automatically so there are no available options (in both GUI and CLI) that could be adjusted.
Note: Altering the SRS configuration might lead to issues with blacklisting. I would not recommend doing that in general.

SRS is used automatically when messages are forwarded from Plesk-hosted mailboxes.
