Resolved PostGreSQL : available or not ?

regisg

Regular Pleskian
Hello,

I am in complete confusion with the presence/activation of PostGreSQL on my VPS.
Version Plesk Onyx v17.0.17_build1700161028.14 os_Debian 8.0
OS Debian 8.6

I read https://kb.plesk.com/en/123729 and https://kb.plesk.com/en/119195
PostGreSQL is installed on my server.

BUT :
. PostGreSQL can't be started from Services Management, nevertheless it can be started from the console (# /etc/init.d/postgresql start)
. PostgreSQL database server support is OFF into License Management
. When a want to add a database server, only Mysql is proposed in the "Database server type" dropdown list

So please could you tell me how can i use PostgreSQL on my server ?

Thanks a lot.

Hi regisg,

pls. REMOVE or anonymize your Plesk - key - number for security reasons.

PostgreSQL database server support is OFF into License Management
You are able to purchase an additional license key for "Power Pack" or "Hosting Pack", which both includes the PostgreSQL management module. Pls. contact your server hosting provider, or the Plesk sales department ( => https://www.plesk.com/support/licensing-and-purchase-support/ or the Plesk support => https://cscontact.plesk.com/form/32/?Product=Plesk )
