Power Toys 3.9.1

Hi all,

We released new version of Power Toys, more is bug fixing on this release.

We tried to fix Alias Tools and here is working.
What is new on this and you need to know.

We changed path now, so now psaptzones is in NAMED/etc/ directory.
Also domains are created now in NAMED/var directory.
Also some problem in zone was fixed.

SKIN: Here was a small bug on those systems where all skins were deleted and custom skin was used.

SECURITY: Even if was used only by Admin and only Admin know about this tools, possible that some Clients and some Users guess to add /powertoys/ in URL and then can access Power Toys as ADMIN.
So we ask you to upgrade as soon as possible.
Now only ADMIN can access Power Toys.

For next release we will add more features.
We still wait your ideas to be added.

Problem with newsletter and Domain(s) expired

Hello Ivalics,

My system:
suse9.1 plesk 7.5.4 with all fixes in german
powertoys 3.9.1

1. problem
If I will send a newsletter to 2 or 3 Clients (resellers) and I select them and then click "Send mail to client(s) ".
In the next I write the text and "start newsletter".
In head of "create newsletter" it shows always the same
"Total users:14
Sent:0
Get the list (CSV file)"
This mail will be send at every time to all clients on my plesk. What's wrong?

2. problem
My "Domain(s) expired" shows me always the same domains, wich are owned by administrator (me) with exire date "01-01-1970" and I could not the all the other domains.

Hi,

Problem 1 is very strange, but we will try to reproduce here.

2. That show "01-01-1970" is because is unlimited the time, is a small bug, but why not show the rest is because probabbly will not expiry in next 1 month. Try to set up to 3 mo or 6 mo or 1 year.

problem 2.
if I select 3 month or 1 year it shows me always the same and I know, that 2 of the shown domains expired in may 2006.
I see only the 10 domains all the same wich time period I select.
In fields "client" and "email" it shows me nothing.

1. add optionally more custom buttons to the navigation menu (i use to create an extra icon "password revealer" as a custom button in the nav which gets overwritten when updating powertoys)

2. in password revealer, add checkboxes to each entry. only when checkbox is checked, the password is sent by email. i do not always want to send all emails to a person who asks me to recover a forgotten password.

Is it possible to include IPV6 Support within Powertoys? I just need to create AAAA records within a customer-dns-zone... Only A records are available right now.

Perhaps Powertoys could patch the system that every user can create AAAA records

We will try to see it how IPV6 is supported, it is very easy to add

maybe i'm to stupid, but i just cannot get the new powertoys. i have an account, i had one on the old site, but it is just not working any more.

please, could you offer us a straight linkto the download on your site without the shopping cart stuff?

Unfortunatelly that shopping cart stuff it is a must on manage accounts.
What is on the old site the account name?

for the check domains area:

could you add a check at http://openrbl.org/ for the domains hosted in plesk?

http://openrbl.org/ is IP based as far as I know, they don't block a domain, they block an IP, so all site are affected.

that's right, so maybe add a link somewhere above the domains in the check domains module, would be handy and is quickly added i think..

Hi Ivalics,

i'm having some problems with PT 3.9.1 on my Plesk 7.5.3 /RHEL3 :

1- sending text mail from password reveiler, will send html format :
"Content-Type: text/html;"

I think the bug is in cls_universal_mailsender.php file


2- I cannot find a way to send Newsletter to just 1 Client, selecting 1 checkbox it doesn't works.

3- Domain(s) expired function (this is the option pushed me to upgrade my PT 3.5) simply doesn't work for me, shows only some domains (i know others domain are expiring soon) and some of these haven't client name and e.mail.


Please help me to fix these problems, i really need the mentioned options in 3.9.1


PS: why not using qmHandle script for Qmail Queque option???
