• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hi,

If I buy (not lease) Plesk 8.2 for Windows, 30 domains:
1) do I just get an .exe I can run, that automatically installs the required software (such as mail, FTP, php,..), that is not by default installed on Windows 2003?
2) If not, is there a list of software I should install before installing Plesk?
3) Does it come with an 'easy' control panel that enables me to set things such as DNS?
4) Creating packages with x bandwidth, diskspace, amount of databases, that kind of stuff is possible?

Plesk for Windows does not install Microsoft Framework 2.0 and FrontPage Server Extensions.

Please look at Domain Templates documentation

I can install those two myself.
Any chance you could give me a reply to my other questions?
And an additional question, can you manage the databases by something like or with PhpMyAdmin?

Plesk ships phpMyAdmin and allows to manage databases.

Unlike with Virtuozzo, where I appareantly did something wrong cause me to be unable to install/remove it. :)
