prob with www

[randata]

Hi
i have some prob
randata.se work fine
www.randata.se will not work

my setup
under server
and defaul host i have
randata.se
and
under client randata
and domains under randata is randata.se
PreferencesDomain name * WWW
Allow domain administrator's access

so it shoult work
and when i type in the ie7
www.randata.se i get a error and i come to the default error page

but when i use only randata.se it work fine ant my page is cooming upp

and i thing my dns is ok
becouse all my other sites works fine with both www and without www


have i done somthing wrong here ?=

Both www.randata.se and randata.se are getting me a Plesk default page.

please check you server (and later for specified domain) dns settings in plesk, maybe it didn't create for some reason record for "www"

You don't need Plesk to check that.

$ host [url]www.randata.se[/url]
[url]www.randata.se[/url] is an alias for randata.se.
randata.se has address 195.238.76.209
randata.se has address 195.238.76.210
randata.se mail is handled by 10 mail.randata.se.[/quote]

So, [url]www.randata.se[/url] is an alias (CNAME) for randata.se. No problem there.

I see that randata.se has two A records. Is your domain setup on both? I get a Plesk default page on either.

true, but i assumed that plesk will be more user friendly for rendata ;)

as you can see, there is 2 ips for same domain, i beleive that it should be just one... but i'm not a guru, so who knows :|
