problem installing suphp

Hey,

I've been pulling my hair out on this one. I install mod_suphp via the rpmforge repo, configure it (used various different guides) but in the end it doesn't work. Is there an official guide to go about doing this?


Server OS: Centos 6.x 64-bit

Hey InderS,

thank you for the reply. Neither of the link worked until I found out that I had FCGID enabled for the domain, I went into the domain and changed to to Apache Module and it started to work.

Used this link to change this option:

Hey InderS,

thank you for the help. The links you mentioned didn't work until I found out that php was being run as FastCGI, I turned that off and suphp started working.

funny thing, after all the reading through different articles I've decided not to use suphp and instead stick with fastcgi and tune it for better performance. But thank you nonetheless, I wouldn't have been able to reach this conclusion without help on getting this running.
