  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Problem migrating domains from Plesk 8 to Plesk9

Hello,

We are having many issues migrating domains from Plesk 8 to 9, we've used pre9-backup-convert.exe to convert the Plesk 8 dump, but when we restore the domain it is missing many important settings:

- ASP Version is not retained
- File/Directory permissions are not retained
- Default index page setting is not retained
- Plesk also places an index.html file inside each vhost if this file doesn't exist, and it breaks the website

Anyone know if there is a fix for these problems?

thanks
