Hi,

I have an issue with horde where whenever customers enter the wrong username and password, it always has a Internal Server Error message. And sometimes keying the right combination also will redirect to the internal server error page.

But once a while the webmail is working...

And advises?

Thanks

I have a similar error. Can login to webmail ok, but some things like performing maintenance or replying to a message produce error of
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Of course, [email protected] is not my server contact address, but that's what the error says.

Anyone figure this out?

Damon

However, POP3 email works fine.

Nothing in the messages or maillog.

any ideas?

Paul.

You should check your apache log file.

On FreeBSD and Plesk 8.1 it's on standard location: /var/log/httpd-error.log

I can't tell error file location for other OSes. :(

my http log showed this:

[Thu May 03 14:32:01 2007] [error] [client 86.4.9.204] mod_security: Access denied with code 500. Pattern match "[[:space:]]+(select|grant|delete|insert|drop|alter|replace|truncate|update|create|rename|describe)[[:space:]]+[A-Z|a-z|0-9|\\*| |\\,]+[[:space:]]+(from|into|table|database|index|view)[[:space:]]+[A-Z|a-z|0-9|\\*| |\\,]" at POST_PAYLOAD [hostname "webmail.telcoworks.co.uk"] [uri "/imp/compose.php?uniq=779qk4cavn8c"]

I tryed webmail even after a dreaded reboot... although the problem still persisted. Then, webmail seems to have started allowing webmail to work again - although no mails are actually being delivered!

They are accepted, as below:

If I send to the SAME recipient with POP3 - the mail is delivered instantly!

What gives ?!?

psifx,

We have the same problem. After I posted I found the same error in my logs. It means Modsecurity is blocking the action. I've posted this info over at GotRoot.com to see about creating a new Horde rule or exception.
