Problem with RapidSSL certificate

FranciscoWeb19

New Pleskian
Hello all, first time here.

I have this problem in a server where I tried to install a SSL certificate x.509.

I have set some config options in httpd.conf to install that certificate and restarted apache, quite ok until this point.

When I check via SSChecker I see that the real certificate for the appropriate domain (I have lots of domains hosted in this server) is under the plesk certificate, as a chain certificate.

The question is, how can I fix this not messing up with the Plesk Panel I use (via https)?

Check it out the result here: http://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=www.armazemdasaliancas.com.br

Can I remove the default certificate in Plesk Administration without causing any trouble to my Plesk Panel?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can disable the default SSL by going to Tools & Settings -> SSL Certificates and this does not have to affect the Panel's SSL.

To set for the Panel -> in same location above, you select the SSl certificate and click Secure Panel

Actually I was misunderstanding a very important detail, to have a hosted domain using https we must have an additional IP address, since I set it up everything got back to normal.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

Francisco, this is nolonger the case with Plesk 10.* + Plesk 11.*. With these versions now you can use the same shared IP address with different SSL certificates. This they use Apache SNI.

One of the reason you should upgrade to Plesk 11.*
