can anyone tell me if the psa prefixed package names under opensuse linux are patched versions? Are the sources available?

Sources of Plesk are not available, this is proprietary software (not open source).
All new releases are available for download at the website
http://www.parallels.com/download/plesk/products/

I remember that the plesk patches for qmail have also been made available.

BTW: Courier Imap is opens source and published under GPL.

Courier-imap is provided unpatched with Plesk , download it from any repository.
