  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Qmail code modifying is not reflecting after replacing qmail binaries

visu_byahatti

New Pleskian
This is regarding the qmail code compilation and usage. I have done some changes in 'newfield.c' part of qmail code say 'msgidfmt' function.
I replaced qmail-inject and qmail-send binaries after compiling the code.

The changes done in file 'newfield.c' is not reflecting or working, not sure what is the reason.
But the changes done in qmail-send.c is reflecting. I am sure its not the compilation issue.

Can anyone let me know what binaries I have to use after building it, to get it work?

Changes done as below:
Appending a random number to the original format of 'Message-ID'.
Original Format:
<timestamp.processid.qmail@local-host>

Appended Format:
<timestamp.processid.<random_number>.qmail@local-host>

Example:
Message-ID: <20010603110559.7877.<335>.qmail@[10.198.162.99]>
