QMAIL PROBLEM : deferral: Not_allowed_to_perform_deliveries_as_root./

Hi All,

I have this *strange* problem after upgrading to 8.0;

When root sends mail to root (only this case) the following error appears in the log files:

deferral: Not_allowed_to_perform_deliveries_as_root./


Everything else is OK; even the update went OK, suprisingly this upgrade went OK, except for this particular problem.


If you have any Ideas, please let me know.

P.S. : Permissions on all the binaries are OK, qmail is NOT running as root etc. etc. etc.

i have the same problem. clean install plesk 7.5.4 with upgrade to 8, suse 9.3 64 bit (1&1).

anyway qmail seems kind of medival to me, i 'm used to postfix (which made it a bazillion times easier to block spam).
