Hi,

I can imagine that you probably get a lot of qmail related questions. I've been looking into implementing checks into qmail to limit the amount of spam coming in. Can anyone guide me on setting up RDNS, FQDN and HELO/EHLO required checks? Also, i've been looking into implementing greylisting with qmail, however, the how-to's and download urls i've found so far are all outdated.

We're looking into the spamassassin license, however, we would prefer to ensure the mail coming in is RFC compliant first before relying on e/u's to sort their mail accordingly.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Try installing qmail-scanner from Atomic repo. It works pretty well!

Hey, thanks for the suggestion it seems the most viable. We're using debian here and I can't seem to see rpms available for debian on www.atomicrocketturtle.com?

Oh, I'm not sure about Debian. Perhaps Scott (from Atomic) can enlighten us.

You can also try spamdyke, which have proved to me an awesome anti-spam tool with very easy install instructions. (plesk included).
