Hi, sinceI'm nw to Plesk I am not familair with all system generated files and our detection system found a file public_html/.php-ini and .php-ini
is dot php.ini a Plesk generated file that just points the the real php.ini file?
It does point to /var/www/vhosts/system/domainname.xyz/etc/php.ini

Thanks in advance.

Did you migrate from cPanel using the Plesk migrator (or a Wordpress migration Plugin)?

By default Plesk does not create or uses any .ini files located in the document root for PHP configuration. The public_html directory is also not a directory created or utilized by Plesk by default. It's a directory commonly used by cPanel. So if you've migrated from cPanel that's likely the cause of these file(s) and directory ended up in your current web space.

We used C-panel in the past and moved to Plesk. But the dot files are not something we added. It been automatically generated afterwards.
