• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Redirect Server-generated Emails

Hi

I am getting my mail queue "clogged up" with lots of server-generated emails.

For example, I switched DrWeb on and my mail queue now has 136 emails that say:

Received: (qmail 8721 invoked by uid 100); 4 Jan 2010 05:00:06 -0400
Date: 4 Jan 2010 05:00:06 -0400
Message-ID: <20100104090006.8719.qmail@ip-<ip_address>.ip.secureserver.net>
From: root@ip-<ip_address>.ip.secureserver.net (Cron Daemon)
To: drweb@ip-<ip_address>.ip.secureserver.net
Subject: Cron <drweb@ip-<ip_address>> /opt/drweb/update.pl
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8
Auto-Submitted: auto-generated
X-Cron-Env: <SHELL=/bin/sh>
X-Cron-Env: <HOME=/var/drweb>
X-Cron-Env: <PATH=/usr/bin:/bin>
X-Cron-Env: <LOGNAME=drweb>
X-Cron-Env: <USER=drweb>

I think that this is just a notification that DrWeb has tried to update its definitions (please let me know if I am wrong about this).

Please can you tell me if there is a setting in the Plesk interface (or anywhere else) where I can have all server-generated emails like this delivered to an email address so that it can be removed from the queue without just being deleted?

Thanks.

Viola

If it is crontab scheduled tasks that you can set needed address in the preferences for these scheduled tasks, for example. Also there was suggestions regarding disabling DrWeb notifications. Try to search it here.
