Registration Form - Email notification problem

Hi!
How come I don't get any email notification upon registraion? Meaning, when a new user registers to my web site, he or she doesn't get any email notification. Nor when you want to get your user account info by submiting on Forgot the Password?
I have specified email address in the setting.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated
