Resolved Remove FTP certificate

Sylvain Ard

Basic Pleskian
Hi,
When I connect to a directory via FTP on my server it prompts a certificate popup I want to remove this certificate, how can I do this via Plesk please ?
Thank you
Bye

Hi Sylvain Ard,

pls. check your current settings at

=> /etc/proftpd.conf
( or additional *.conf - files at => /etc/proftpd.d/ )

for your SSL - settings and modify them to your needs.:)

Pls. keep in mind to check as well your serverwide FTP - settings at

=> HOME > Tools & Settings > Security Policy

... where you are as well able to change/modify FTP - settings. ;)

Thank you, what do I need to write in the file

=> /etc/proftpd.conf
( or additional *.conf - files at => /etc/proftpd.d/ ) ?

And my connection is FTP not FTPS, and with LFTP I have a certificate, is it normal ?

Hi Sylvain Ard,

what do I need to write in the file
actually, you should rather ask, what you DON'T have to setup here, to avoid the certificate acceptance question... ;)

Pls. have a CLOSER look at the content of that file => /etc/proftpd.conf , as it doesn't make sense to post things, without being sure, that you know what you are doing here.
The part
Code:
...

<IfModule mod_tls.c>

...
...
...
</IfModule>

...
... is the standart definition part for your TLS/SSL - settings and most of the settings are as well explained there ( with a "#" in front are comments, which should help you to understand the settings )
