Restore Older Version Backup Possible?

I have a backup of a domain made in an older version of Plesk. (Not sure of the version) The client dropped the site and I eventually deleted it from the server.

They now want to start the site up and I was hoping to be able to just restore it. When I upload it to Plesk, it tells me it is not a backup file and therefore will not restore.

Is there a utility or a way to restore this backup?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: The backup is from 7.5.2 and I am now running 8.3.0

I found it in the manual, but it claims my backup is corrupt. :(
