• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Restoring plesk backups with SSH

Hi everyone!

I'm trying to restore a plesk backup I have on my server through SSH (I'm pretty basic with all this stuff so keep the language simple please!!!)

So far, I've been told to enter this:

/usr/local/psa/bin/psarestore -f <path_to_the_dump_file> --single-domain-mode --domain-name <domain_name> --domain-ip <domain_ip> --client-login <client_login>

Is this all I need to enter? And do I only change the text within the "< >"s?

Also, my domain name details for plesk etc is all stored within the backup, so should I still enter the domain name I'm loading up?

Thank you for your time
