Hello,

It is possible to create a rule in the plesk firewall in order to block all connections from ports that plesk does not work? If the response is yes, how can I do it?

Anyone did this and how was your experience?

Thank you in avance

By default the Plesk firewall works on a exception model. Meaning that all ports are blocked, except for ports which are opened by specific rules.

That why the last listed rule on the firewall is this:

Hi, I have just one question. Which ports I have to block if I want to block incoming mail from one country?

I want to create a rule to block all mail coming from VN for example. I can choose the country, but what ports? It is possible to do that?

Thanks in advance

In that case you'd block port 25. But be aware that this would only block mail connections made from IP's assigned to Vietnam. Emails sent from an .vn domain might very well be routed trough other networks (with different IP's not assigned to Vietnam). The opposite might be true as well. Email traffic from other countries might be routed trough Vietnam.
