• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Scheduled Plesk Backups

Hi,

I'm trying to setup scheduled automatic Plesk backups using the backup utility. I can create a backup no problem, but when I try and setup a scheduled backup (say at 2:00am every morning) and I hit "Apply", it will either close out the screen or not do anything.

When it closes out the screen I figure it was setup correctly so I go back to look at it and everything was reverted back to what it was, with no check in the box that enables automatic scheduled backups.

I'm on Plesk 7.5.4 and plan on updating to 7.5.5 tonight.

Is this a current problem with 7.5.4 that will be fixed in the 7.5.5 update or is this option that just doesn’t work across the board?

Thanks for your help!!
