• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Serious Mail Problem

I am getting all sorts of new bad mail issues on a server running 7.5.3 on FreeBSD 5.3. It is not updating forwards, catch alls are not working to the most part.

However, when I attempted to add in a maps server, I recieved this message, server host name removed from message:

Unable to update superserver configuration file: MailMng->MailMng->setMapsProtection() failed: mailmng failed: mailmng: popen_exec:
command failed code: 1, bsdtar 1.01.011, libarchive 1.01.013
Use gtar
/usr/bin/gtar

Unable to resolve hostname or establish network access to localhost: servername. You should fix this problem prior to instaling Plesk.

Note to anyone setting up a new server. Be sure you check and fix the /etc/hosts file from the internal IP to the new IP -before- you put the server online.
