Resolved Server health monitor withdrawn ?

TomBoB

Regular Pleskian
Hi all,

after the last update to Version 17.5.3 Update #15 on CentOS 7.3
the server health monitor seems to have vanished from the server.
when trying to reinstall the extension, it doesn't list it.
going to Categories - Plesk Extensions and searching for it also shows no result.

when going to updates and upgrades, it shows green - installed.

there is another seemingly unrelated issue that cropped up after the server update. Could it be just some weird corruption?
EDIT: turns out resolving this issue also sorted out the other issue. Weird indeed.

Cheers,
Tom

Hi TomBoB,

pls. note, that the Plesk Server Health Monitor is a Plesk component and not an extension:

To list Plesk components, you could use the command ( logged in as user "root" over SSH ):
Code:
plesk installer --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --show-components --show-options
... which you are able to install with the example command:
Code:
plesk installer --select-product-id plesk --select-release-current --install-component health-monitor

or you use the Plesk Control Panel, to list the available components:

=> HOME > Tools & Settings > Updates & Upgrades > Add/Remove Components > Server Health Monitor

Plesk-Onyx_Updates-Upgrades_Server-Health-Monitor_001.png

uninstalling and reinstalling the extension/component within updates and upgrades resolved the issue

Exactly the same as in my first post happened again after the update last night to Version 17.5.3 Update #27 on CentOS 7.4

Server health monitor doesn't show.
(Funnily enough the "unrelated" (see first post) issue of everthing email related also not being displayed also happened again!)

And just like before, a uninstall / reinstall of the health monitor solves all issues, including the email related ones.
