• Our team is looking to connect with folks who use email services provided by Plesk, or a premium service. If you'd like to be part of the discovery process and share your experiences, we invite you to complete this short screening survey. If your responses match the persona we are looking for, you'll receive a link to schedule a call at your convenience. We look forward to hearing from you!
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi Team,

Please be kind enough to advise me about the Server Migration from 2003 server 32bit with Plesk 8.1 to 2008 server 64

bit with plesk 10.x.. Is it possible in practical case? If yes please advise me on the following queries..

1) How can we migrate this server? ie what is the best and suitable migration process for this scenario?

2) Possible issues after migration

3) Fixes for Possible issues after migration if any

Awaiting your response at the earliest..

Thank you, Team!

Warm Regards,

Did you try Plesk Migration Manager for it? You can try to migrate only one domain for test.

Hi IgorG,

Thank you for the reply, I have not tried it yet, becouse we have not purchased any additional servers with the given configuration. So we have to know whether it is possible or not before buying a new server..

Thank you, Team

Regards,
Sujith
