ServerAlias problem...

Hello,

I have problem and trying to find a solution for two days but no luck yet... Could anybody please help me?
We installed a new script on our server and for it work correctly we were asked to add a line like "ServerAlias *.domain.com domain.com" in httpd.conf file... When ever we edit this file control panel stops working... How and where should I add this line for my script to work correctly?
PLEASE HELP SOMEONE...
