Basic Pleskian
Every morning between 4:10am and 4:20am I get 3 emails warning my about my web server service is down.

The Plesk Web Server service on host ***** is down.
The problem was discovered on Jan 19, 2007 04:12 AM.
The Plesk Web Server service on host ***** is down.

The Plesk Web Server service on host flatant.com has been started on Jan 19, 2007 04:22 AM.

I've looked in my Apache error file, but cannot see anything in there which suggests why this may be happening. Here's a copy of todays (19th of January) log...

[Fri Jan 19 03:33:47 2007] [notice] child pid 32719 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Fri Jan 19 06:38:15 2007] [notice] child pid 7976 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Fri Jan 19 07:49:53 2007] [notice] child pid 24281 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)
[Fri Jan 19 10:20:46 2007] [notice] child pid 24248 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Does anyone have any idea why this may be happening? or could tell me where else to search for a solution? I'm on Fedora 4, Plesk 8.1

Thanks in advance,

I have the same exact problem, every morning (really early in the morning) I get a watchdog email telling me my servers down, then 5 mins later i get one saying its up again.

I cant say for sure, but i believe since you are on a Virtual Private Server (guessing you are) the actual physical server thats hosting many other VPS accounts is being restarted, but the good news is that it will stop doing it after a while, mine stopped a week ago.

Sorry i couldnt be more help
