setting up Anonymous FTP

Hi,

I am trying to setup an anonymous FTP account on my domain. I have enabled it on the plesk admin site. But when I try going to the site - ftp://ftp.acorneng.com - I get a login box and I cannot seem to login anonymously.

Can someone pls tell me why this is happening, and if you can login anonymously to my site?

PS: It is a dedicated server and doesnt use shared IPs.

Fails for me when trying to login as anonymous

yeah, i disabled it because some people in my office didnt feel comfortable with an anonymous account.

however, we also found out later that Plesk cannot create multiple ftp accounts - a major drawback!

i am wondering if there are any better ideas for file uploading, downloading and sharing, other than going for a paid subscription service and let them worry abt these details.
