• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Setting up domain-based firewall rules

Hello,

I have a domain und several subdomains. Rather private data is stored on each subdomain. What I am trying to achieve is the following:

domain.tld - everyone has access
subdomain1.domain.tld - only a few IP addresses have access
subdomain2.domain.tld - only a few IP addresses have access, different from subdomain1
... and so on.

The "firewall" module works well, but apparently it lets me only set up rules for the whole server, not for subdomains. Is there a way to do what I want? Any help is appreciated.

I can suggest you only use exclusive IP for each these hostnames with own firewall rules.

Thanks for the reply, but how would I even do that? When I set up a new rule, this is everything I see:

No possibility to say "This rule only applies to incoming connections on x.x.x.x", so it always counts. Or am I missing something?
