Question Site Import -> Email import not available for subdomains?

Hi, first post so I hope I didn't miss a post that answers my question and the question isn't too embarrassing (first impressions...).

As far as I can see, the Import Email Button is never displayed on subdomain accounts.

Is this caused by a misconfiguration, intentional behaviour or some kind of bug?

the "primary" domain has an "E-Mail-Import" button button

subdomain of example.de

The subdomain doesn't have it.

Both domains have mail enabled and both of them have several email accounts.

This happens on all subdomains added to this instance of plesk.
