site on plesk

if i want to put site on the plesk server that's NOT register threw the plesk server.. will it work?

in IIS.. i add a new site.. point it to it's default folder (different from where plesk defaults to)..

but when i run it i get the default plesk page, instead of the page in my new site..

iis / default web site/ new site.. noplesksite.com

when i enter noplesksite.com even tho it's pointing to c:\tempsite\

it still launches c:\inetpub\vhost

"this is the plesk default page"

I need some assistance on this quickly..

so far the support from/by Plesk is non-existence and disappointing.
