Hello,

today i noticed that no sites can be published any more.

No matter what FTP account i use, there will always the following error:
A change of the specified site location is not possible. (German)

I also try with accounts on other servers. Via FTP all accounts receipts without problems.

Has someone an idea?

Thank you for your answers.

So it seems that a FTP connection is successful but than an error occurred.

Can you help?

From the output I can see following message "Fail to check target". So it looks like publication host verification procedure did not work. Try to use following article: http://kb.odin.com/en/1812 and check publication host.
As I understand this is the same host where Sitebuilder located isn't it?

Hello,

when i call the check.php i get an error message from the browser:
the site could not be open

I think it is a PHP problem but i can call the phpinfo without any problems:

Can you help?

It looks like it is PHP issue. Did you try to run some test PHP script from site location?
You can try to put there phpinfo.php script:

<?php

phpinfo();

?>

and try to run it. Let me know about the results. Also I can suggest you to check Apache error logs file for any errors when you run check.php script through browser and get 'site could not be open' issue.

Also, try to install latest ionCube loader for PHP according to this article: http://kb.odin.com/en/5244

Hello,

we have once again check and reinstall all (Suse Linux 10.1 / Plesk 8.6.0 / Sitebuilder 4.5.0). The same problem.

We have PHP 5.1.2 and ionCube PHP Loader v3.1.32 for the domains.

If i want to publish a site the following error is indicated in the apache error log:
[x] [notice] child pid 29835 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

We have unfortunately no support contract for Sitebuilder.

Have you any ideas?

Hello,

the following information are indicated:

Linux x (Hostname) 2.6.9-023stab048.4-enterprise #1 SMP Fri Jul 11 18:31:01 MSD 2008 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

Can not say for sure what it could be. Need to investigate situation directly on the server, I guess.
Try to play with PHP extensions, ionCube, Zend optimizer. Check if valid latest ionCube installed, try to use old version. Try to disable Zend. There can be many reasons for such apache behavior.
