Question Slave DNS on same server(additional IP)

Hi,
I have server with PLESK and additional IP. Is there a way to setup Slave DNS on the same server using additional IP?

Try to use Slave DNS Manager from Extensions Catalog

Hi,

Linux or Windows? Plesk for Linux use 'named'. 'Named' listen all interfaces/ips at server by default. I think you can use another ip even without extension, but anyway this is not good practice. Two DNS is needed for redundancy, stability, etc.

so you mean 2 servers? same size (ram, cores, storage)?

Usual, minimal hardware configuration is enough for standalone slave DNS.

Is it good to use 2 servers from linode and digitalocean

Is this possible?

Slave server >>> Ns2.domain.com

Right now am unable to connect master to the slave server.
