  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

smarthost requires smtp authentication

I would like all outbound SMTP traffic to relay to a remote SMTP relay. The relay provider that I am using requires SMTP authentication. I've already added a smarthost via the smtproutes file in the /var/qmail/control directory with the following syntax ":example.relay.com". Mail is indeed relaying to my provider. However, because they require authentication, it is being denied. Where do I need to supply this authentication information in qmail? I'm using Plesk 7.5 on Fedora. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
