• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Question Some servers redirect hostname to login page and some don't. I don't know why.

danimora

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
CentOS Linux 7.7.1908
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.47
I want that when a user visits the plesk server using its hostname (ie, https://panel.mydomain.com) it is redirected to the login page either using :8443 or the new /login_up.php

The thing is that I have some servers that do that and some dont. All of them on the same version of Plesk Obsidian Version 18.0.47

The servers that dont redirect to the login page show the "Web Server's Default Page" and that is what I want to avoid.

i checked all the options in the admin GUI and I'm not able to spot the difference between them?

Where else should I look?
