  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Resolved Spam folder: Auto cleanup

Jimma

New Pleskian
I've just now discovered this part of the Plesk Administrator Guide:

Because all messages are automatically removed from the Spam folder after 30 days, you will need to review the contents of the Spam folder on a regular basis to make sure you do not miss any important messages, and move all non-spam messages back to the Inbox folder.

Which application takes care of thie automatic removal? How can it be disabled?

It is hardcoded in /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/spamtrain

# remove messages from .Spam folder after period(in days)
delete_interval="30"

You can change this value, but it will be overwritten by the next Plesk update.
