  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Spam, Spamhaus, DNS Blackhole, cannot send email

Since an upgrade 3 weeks ago I’m receiving a large amount of spam.

Fresh CentOS 5 install and upgrade from 8 to Plesk 9 (with the most recent updates), now DNS blackhole lists, DNSBL is not working when I add spamhaus. If I add sbl.spamhaus.org I cannot send email using any email client (entourage, mac mail, outlook). Also when I add spamhaus and send a test email to [email protected] (spamhaus test email) their system returns an error message that sbl block is not working. I just added Barracuda’s new sbl block list and still using spamcop, no problem there. I tried switching to port 587 for outgoing email and it still does not work with spamhaus.

Has anyone had this problem? A fix?
