SpamAssassin running, but Plesk doesn't recoginze it

HMnet

Basic Pleskian
1&1 Root-Server
Plesk 8.2.0
SuSe 9.3 64-bit

Since the upgrade from 8.1.1 to 8.2.0:

1) Spamd is running, but plesk shows it as not running. Spam filters are being applied. I have tried restarting the server. No effect. Under Server / Services SpamAssassin has a red "X".
2) I check the server-health with Watchdog. Watchdog doesn't recognize spamd and mysqld, too. MySQL is also running.

Any ideas?

Thanks...

Short info:

I reinstalled the watchdog-module with:
rpm -Uvh --force psa-watchdog-2.0.2-suse9.3.build82070706.15.x86_64.rpm

in the /srv/psa/PSA_8.2.0/dist-rpm-SuSE-9.3-x86_64/opt/modules/watchdog dir

Now Plesk recognizes spamd again as running.

STRANGE!

Watchdog says still that mysql and spamd is not running.

Meanwhile watchdog realizes that Pleak SpamAssassin in running, but MySQL still not. :-(

There is a big bug with watchdog and a lot of versions of spamassassin.

Support is aware of the issue and a fix is planned. I would recommend you roll back to a earlier version of spamassassin.

Without watchdog policing spamd, if it stops you get a ton of spams until you restart it.

I am still running a 3.1x version trouble free with watchdog.
