• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Spassassin store vs delete option

I've been struggling to get ART's qmail-scanner installed (it seems to want the removal of psa-assassin yet I still need to retain the user interface for some clients).

I've currently got the server wide settings marking spam of score 4, the client side settings (for example) mark at 3 on one account and then store in mailbox.

What I would like to do is mark all spam 4 and above as ****SPAM***** yet anything 10 and above should be automatically deleted . From what I understand, the Plesk settings will only allow either storing on one value or deleting on that value but not both, is this correct? ie. is the qmail-scanner the only option?

Cheers,
Graeme.

ie. I guess I'm just trying to understand the flow here. Will the server setting say anything above 4 is *****SPAM***** and then the client setting of anything above 3 will override this.

or

will the server setting of 4 mark it as *****SPAM****, and then the client setting could be set to 10 and anything over that will be deleted, yet, anything over 4 (but under 10) will be marked as *****SPAM***** by the server setting?
