  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SQL 2008 Studio Manager

New Pleskian
Hello,

I think I have found a bug in Plesk 9.0.1 with SQL 2008 express, but I wanted to see if anyone else is having an issue or is aware of a fix for this.

When you add a new SQL 2008 database via the Plesk interface, it add the database and the user fine.

When you connect using SQL Management Studio 2008 it connects with the username and password which is assigned to the database but when you go to view the database it pop's up a permission error and gives the first database on the server.

It seems there is a linkage problem.

Has anyone else had this issue and is there a fix.
