Hi,
what is needed to be configured in Plesk panel to allow ssh and/or sftp connections for entire account or for given web users?

What is needed to be configured on the server (unix-like, linux or bsd)?
 
In my experiance ssh is configured by default on port 22.
As long as you have ssh enabled you can sftp.
