I have a few SSI in my main site webpage, and I am trying to run virtual include from directory in subdomain. I can not seem to get this to work. Any ideas ???
do you need more info ?
Thanks for the help,
Jesse

Could you post the code that you are trying to use in the include? Also double check that SSI has been turned on for the domain.

I am trying to do it both ways, but i will give you example of what I am trying from subdomain trying to include file from domain.
inside index.shtml for shala.lightworker.com I have following line:
<!--#include virtual="http://lightworker.com/include/next_event.shtml"-->
Lightworker.com being my main domain, of which shala is subdomain.
I have tried all the variations I can think of from full paths, everything in between and nothing works.
I know this is possible, as it was running this way on last server.
only difference I know of is last sever had Ensim, not Plesk ...

The first problem I see with the code is your are trying to include http://domain.com/. One of the conditions of SSI is the file has to reside on the same server your issueing the command from. You will either need to use include virtual and then relative path to the file. Or include file, and use the full path to the file.

Also do you get an error on the page where you view the SSI? If you have invalid code such as the code you posted, you should get the following message, indicating that SSI is working, but the code is incorrect: [an error occurred while processing this directive].
