ssl cert for control panel

I believe I have successfully installed my cert for https://www.cardwellcreative.com through the "server" section of the plesk CP. Visiting this URL produces no errors and establishes the SSL. However, when I visit https://www.cardwellcreative.com:8443 for the control panel, some browsers are throwing a cert error. It seems to work fine on IE6 and windows opera, but throws the error in safari, IE7 and firefox 2. When I examine the cert in browsers where it "works" I can see the chain of authority (including the CA part). In browsers where it throws the error, when I examine the cert, it does not show the chain of authority. Is this an incompatibility between port 8443, these browsers and the CA part of the cert? As I mentioned, no errors with https://www.cardwellcreative.com on any browsers. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, but after reading the thread you linked to, I can confidently say that I have done what was written there (clicked the checkbox next to the cert and clicked "setup"). As I said, it works in some browers, not in others.
