• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question SSL Cert for foreign Domains

hypeit

New Pleskian
Hi Guys,

I hope you can help me with a current problem.

We are developed a web tool where every instance gets a subdomain like customer1.tooldomain.com
What we now would like to do is that all of our customers can set a cname (tool.customerdomain.com) to their tool subdomain to get somthing like a white label. Where we stuck is how we can install a certificate for a domain that is not known in Plesk. So the question is, is it possible to install a certificate in plesk for a cname or a-record pointed domain?

Hope you know what I mean.

Many many thanks and a great weekend to everyone.

With the Plesk LetsEncrypt extension, you can install and use certificates only for domains created in Plesk.
