  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

SSL Certificate Warning - Plesk will not start

Ken Dimson

New Pleskian
Got emails about the SSL Cert warning so following the instructions of http://kb.odin.com/en/827 i generated a new self-signed certificate and modified to set as the certificate for the control panel.

A message appeared indicating Plesk was restarting but if it did not start to do it manually. I cannot remember the exact words of the message.

Sure enough Plesk did not start and will not start when I do /etc/init.d/psa restart

I assume the control panel did not manage the change of certificate properly. How can I regain control ie go back to the old certificate etc.
