SSL installation problem

KamalG

Basic Pleskian
I have a commercial SSL certificate which I installed for both the Plesk Panel and the Website

I can properly access https://mydomain.com:8443 and the browser's address bar shows the green padlock, I can see the commercially issued SSL properly.

But the problem is when I browse https://mydomain.com it gives me the following error :

This server could not prove that it is mydomain.com; its security certificate is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.

NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

I have already added the SSL and also in the hosting setting the SSL Support is enabled and the SSL certificate is selected.

I have CentOS 6.6 Installed
2.6.32-504.el6.x86_64
Plesk 12.0.18 Installed

Please kindly help.

I am using Godaddy Server and I added the domain and it sets the path to /var/www/vhosts/default/htdocs automatically

Also I re installed the server added it again and installed the ssl same problem can anyone please help..

Did you follow this guide? => Securing Websites <= ( Online Plesk 12 documentation )

What does the error - log show in "/var/www/vhosts/system/YOUR_DOMAIN.COM/logs" after you restartet the webserver? And IF you see errors there, could you please include your httpd.conf / httpd_ip_default.conf / nginx.conf - configurations from "/var/www/vhosts/system/YOUR_DOMAIN.COM/conf" ( please XXX sensible data like IPs and domain - names! )
