• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

SSL: Only one IP working

Uwe Reiber

New Pleskian
Hello,

we use SSL on a Plesk server with two IPv4 and two IPv6 addresses (screenshot).

Before, we had all presences with SSL on the 217... / 2001:...::1 IP. Now, we want to left only one presence (our main homepage) on this IPs. The other should go to 80... / 2001:...::2. Now our problem:

SSL works fine on 217... / 2001:...::1 IP, but does not work on 80... / 2001:...::2. Now, there occurs a 504 Gateway Time-out when nginx try to load the page (after a minute). The nginx error page is encrypted correctly. It is possible to use SSL on the old IPs with SNI, what we try to do here. Furthermore, the 80... / 2001:...::2 addresses can serve non-SSL pages without problems.

Looking for fast solution!

Best Regards
Richard
