  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

statistics problem - log file too big

hello everybody

I don't know if any of you had this kind of problem but I thought it could be useful for someone...

I had some domains that were having problems with statistics, they would never get updated not even if I run:

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/statistics --calculate-one --domain-name=mydomain.com

I saw that the statistics program "locks", and the cause of that is an access_log file too big. in my case, I saw acess_log.processed with 300mb in one domain. (yes, I should manage my logs better)

this problem made me look after my server logs pay more attention to it

I had to rename that file to generate new statistics only with access_log file

well, that's it, I hope someone finds this interesting

see ya
