Stopping coldfusion

I purchased vps package with comes with coldfusion server. I don't really need coldfusion and I would like to stop it.
And when I stop it from service managment I kepp getting error logs like this:

Couldn't initialize from remote server, JRun server(s) probably down.

Could someone please help me out on how do I stop it permanently and not get any errors afterward?
